Write Out

BRAND IDENTITY, PACKAGING Write Out is a brand identity for an annual event held by the National Writing Project. This event is a week-long event that is held in partnership with the National Parks Service which is held to encourage and motivate students of all ages to get outside and practice the art of writing. To encourage schools nationwide to get involved in this year's event, Untuck has designed a custom box of tools that are sent to teachers as a way to further encourage their students to get out and get writing.

For the Write Out branding, I decided to create a pattern system that captured the essence of key parts of nature. The goal of the linework patterning was to use water, wind, earth, and sun as inspiration to create graphics that capture the spirit of those key elements of nature. The patterning elements are further enhanced by pairing the linework with custom gradients that are created based upon, Write Out's parent organization, the National Writing Project brand colors.
